The Austin Private Walk is unique because it gives you an insider’s view of Austin from a local’s perspective.
Downtown Austin Private Walk is the most intimate of all of our tours allowing a maximum of 8 guests. This tour delivers an experience of how an Austinite might choose to spend the day, as people who know and love the city versus the typical tourist locations. You’ll experience lesser known areas of downtown, (like the Ladybird Trail), the best of food and drink (food and drink not included in price of tour) as well as historical facts and historic “then and now” photos of the city over the years.
Private walks begin in the 2nd St. District in downtown Austin at Love, Tito’s retail shop. Then, we make a stop at the famous Moody Theater and iconic Willie Nelson statue on our way to the beautiful Hike and Bike Trail of Ladybird Lake. We will follow this trail, about 1/4 mile, to the popular Rainey Street District for some of the best food trucks and drinks Austin has to offer.
After Rainey, we walk into the city to see its amazing history, from historic homes to famous 6th Street!
We conclude our Private Austin Walk at the unforgettable Driskill Hotel, where we tour the lobby and ballroom and guests can choose to grab a drink at the Driskill Bar and Grill.
